Would like to ask clarifications on the following:
1) Is it legal to hold the salary of an employee who went on prolonged leave (i.e. sickness, approved VL without pay) and on AWOL?
2) If yes, what is the standard or reasonable number of days of absences with notice/approval to hold the employee's salary? Also for AWOL.
3) For AWOL, is 3 consecutive days enough to hold the employee's salary?
