Can marriage be voided if one of the spouse just used an affidavit during the marriage and has no birth certificate and has a different gender and name entered in the NSO of the Philippines. Likewise, the man convinced the girl to elope with him when she was just 16 years old (1994) then was married in 1998. The girl does not have any idea on how the papers were prepared and never even thought of the difference of an affidavit from a Birth Cert. by that time, since she just finished 3rd year high school. The man's family, and the man arranged all the paper works for the marriage.

Attorney tanung ko lang po anu po bang mabilis na way or process ng annullment. May friend kasi ako na gusto magpa annull kasi yung asawa nya sa loob ng 5 years na kasal nila less than a year nya lang nakasama or nagsama sa isang tirahan. Yung asawa nya kasi mas nasa negosyo ang fucos pag andito sa pinas or nagtatravel. Ang a few months after ng kasal nila yung asawa nag abroad without her consent and they no longer live together now. At gusto na sana nya magpa annull. Please advice
