Good day po,

I just wanna ask regarding situations wherein the name of the child in PSA birth certificate follows the surname of the mother but it has annotation saying "LEGITIMATED BY SUBSEQUENT MARRIAGE OF PARENTS ON _______", should we already change the surname of the student following the surname of her father?

Or do we really need to wait for proper annotation saying " THE CHILD SHALL BE KNOWN AS____________" before we can change her name in school records?
