Hello. I'm Gem, a graduating student from Silliman University. I would like to ask for some help for our feasibility study since it's a partial fulfillment for our major subject.
Our proponent is a cooperative, which its membership is exclusive only for faculty and staff of the university. Our proponent is planning to engage in a microfinance business which would cater to non-members of the cooperative.
Is it possible that the microfinance business be still part of the cooperative or should we incorporate a different entity for the microfinance business? What are the requirements for such?
What would be the laws that we should comply for establishing the microfinance business?
