I work in a company where we use gmail as a means of communication for updates in our accounts and co workers.
Our Head Department asked our I.T department to open our hang outs so that they can view all our conversation.
I ask the H.R management if they can do such an act and they said yes because we are using company property.
Is that valid? They can open our email read our messages because we are using company property? Are they not violating our right of privacy?
