marriage validity

pareho pa kaming nag wowork abroad ng misis ko, last october we decided to get married kaso we only have limited vacation 3 weeks, nag pakasal po kami sa mayor namin, hinde po pumayag ung mayor namin kasi kulang kami sa araw according pero pinakiusapan po namin mabuti, in the end pumayag nmn po sya but the resolution was we have to move the registration date, so instead na oct 16 po ung date ng kasal namin un din po araw ng reception namin, sa marriage contract po namin oct 25,...ngaun po gusto ko lang po malaman kung valid po ba ung kasal namin? or kailangan po ba nmin humingi ng affidavit of support to prove that the marriage is valid, kasi sabi po ng immigration lawyer namin questionable daw ung valdity though meron nmn kami proof from nso. I need your advise please. thank you

as far as philippine law is concerned, if no one questions your marriage license, then there will be no problem. entry of a wrong date of marriage in the contract does not invalidate it.

thank you sir, does that mean, proof from nso like advisory of marriage and the certificate of marriage validates the whole ceremony of wedding, regardless of date and place considering civil wedding?

the way to look at it is that the person who reported the dates wrong has liability for giving wrong information, but the validity of the marriage itself is not affected.
