I was asked by our company's Operations Mamager to sign a commitment letter stating that I will stay in the company for a year an FCC have at least 3 months perfect attendance starting on June 2016. Is this legal? Will I be sued if ever I will not reach the one year indicated in the letter? Pls help. Thanks

Wala naman pong penalty clause. Simple statement lang po na mananatili ako sa company until Feb. 2017. Ano po ba ang mga pwedeng dahilan para maging null and void yung commitment letter?

I, (my full name), commit to have perfect attendance for at least 3 months starting on June 2016 and will stay in the company until I reach my one year of being regularized as an employee.

Ganito lang po kasimple ang commitment letter na pinagawa sa akin..

You probably received training or other benefits from the company? The company probably is protecting its investment in that form eh. Anyways, you signed it so it is best to fulfill it. Kung pinilit ka or tinakot to force you to sign, yun ang pwedeng grounds mo.
Suwerte ka nga naregular ka. There are other equally important things you get out of a job, like experience, training, and wisdom. You get those if you stay and consciously learn.

Kasi po may health problems din ako.. what if po magkasakit ako at kinailangan kong ipahinga ang katawan ko? Pwede po bang grounds yyn para di ko na ipagpatuloy ang one year?

make sure lang that the medical certificate states that you cannot work for at least 6 months
