CI / Certificate of employment request

hi,if a (lawyer) requested coe of an employee from an employer to certify or validate that the person in request was hired,can a company release coe without employees consent?

It can but it doesn't have to.

The employee revert and was telling the employer that it was illegal because he does not have any consent.  Can a company issued a coe to a requesting  laywer just like that?  The COE  was requested to prove that he was employed and was capable of supporting an illegitimate child. H e was facing legal issues, pls advise.Can the company has the right to issue coe?  tnx appreciate ur reply.

yes, it can certify your employment to anyone it pleases. Walang confidentiality na na eenjoy employee. As long as walang sinabi na hindi tutuo ang employer, the employee has nothing to complain about

Good Day po , a certain advice lang po , Hindi po ako bigyan ng COE ng dati Kong employer (Security Agency) despite tapos na akong mag clearance at natanggap ko narin ang monetary benefits ko upon resigning except sa COE ko. Ang sabi ng HR na as per advice ng Managing Director at ng Admin Manager Hindi daw ako bigyan ng COE dahil daw I'm not in good.moral. 2yrs po ako naging security officer sa previous employer ko na iyon. Nag apply po ako ngayon ng bagong trabaho at hiningan ako ng COE from prev employer. Ano po ang mabuting gawin ko sa Hindi nila pag issue ng COE? Tama ba ang rason nila na Hindi ako bigyan ng COE?
