According to my contract i can resign with 30 calendar days notice. but this was on my former position.  I have a new position but they didnt give me a new contract. Just an appointment letter. Now i am resigning and serving the 30 calendar days but according to HR, my post is critical and internal structure said that i should render 45 working days...can i insist the 30 calendar days based on my signed contract?

A new position does not require a new contract.

Ask for documentation that shows the new position requires a 45-day notice.
