Show Cause Notice

Hi need advice from a lawyer

I'm Cristian Aguilar from Taytay Rizal. I am working in Boral Plasterboard Philippines Inc.l I,I am seeking legal advice .Yesterday I received a Notice to Explain letter from my company regarding the allegations of unauthorized access to others mailbox.I am shocked when I received a letter because I did not do that. I handle much more confidential information in our file server like financial report etc but I did not open or read those files.I am not the administrator of the mail server so there is no way to access others mailbox without a id file and password.I requested them to give me a log file from mail server that will tell that I access others mailbox but currently they can't provide.The issue reported in 2014 but the show cause letter issue to me this february 2016 .I need help from attorney to properly answer that notice to explain letter I hope you can assist me with this.

Ask for evidence or allegations that you accessed others' mailboxes.

Without any proof, or if the situation is circumstantial then most likely there is no basis for the case. Also an issue that is 2 years old may not hold in any investigation any more due to the long delay.

according to the complainant she received a return receipt from me from the two emails but I am not included in the recipient and I did not received that email. they provided the screenshot of the "return receipt" to me but when I am asking for the server logs that will tell that I access others mailbox but they can't provide that.but one thing I don't understand is the long delay of the issuance of the show cause letter.Is the screen shot of the return receipt is a strong evidence against me?
