Road Accident, help...

To make my story short, 2 months ago I was involved to a motorcycle accident with a 14yrs child. Now were both ok in term of physical condition but not ok yet in settling things about the incident. Im 27yrs old with a complete both drivers license and a registered motorcycle and that child got nothing, motorcycle not registered and obviously no drivers license. My question is can I make them pay for what damages he had done to my bike? Or any advise for this matter? In addition, they want to settle it without any financial assistance the police just offered us to sign a affidavit of non interest to resolved the matter. I didn't signed it yet. And I all alone pay for the damage we cause to the fence of one of the resident where my motorcycle landed during the accident because only my motorcycle alone drop on that fence. Should we both pay for the damages instead? Hoping for some advice because I dont know what to do. Its my first accident. Thanks!
