I have a Memorandum of Agreement for notarization, the case is, I only have one original copy. I heard that lawyers usually get two copies from this documents. Will the lawyer notarize a photocopy of this document, provided that I show him/her the original one?

I think some will notarize your document. but ideally, the copy of the notary public should be original because the signatories to the document are all required to appear before the notary public and there should be no problem signing another original.
