I was promoted from a supervisory position to a managerial position. After 3 mos, i was given an adjustment for about 2k. Due to some unavoidable circumstances, i submitted a letter requesting for re-appointment back to my previous supervisory position. Now, they want me to revise my letter stating i am willing to return the approved salary adjusment because it was for that position.
Question:
1. Does the law allows such reducing of salary?
2. Would i be charged legally for not submitting the letter?
3. What would i do if they will issue a letter request me to do so?
