just wanted to ask po the legality of demotion of salary..
i am regular employee in an institution with a rank of instructor 2 with more or less 38,000 monthly gross, then due to K12 i intend to teach in senior high school. presently i was given a rank as a teacher 2 with 18,750 basic salary...me and my co-workers having the same sentiments are all demoralized since we are receiving 250 pesos difference to the salary of the newly hired teachers.
is it legal?
we are now planning to complain and raise this issue to DOLE.
kindly pls help us..
