Hi, I am currently employed to a company that can't give me a TIN and ITR. BIR won't give me a TIN because my company's info in BIR is not updated and needed to be transferred to a different RDO. My employer's company can't update their company info and transfer it to a different RDO because they said that they have lost the tax file that they withheld to their previous employees. What should I do?

keep your payslips. it is the employer which is required to withhold and remit tax payments. the pay slips are your proof that tax was actually deducted.

however, i don't agree that the bir will not give you a TIN, any person should be able to get one regardless of any problems with his employer. i think you can even sign up at their website.

Binawas ang tax dahil sa sweldo mo.

Ang tax refund ay mangyayari lang kung merong sobrang tax na nabawas sa iyo.

bale sir hindi tax refund .. yung kung request ko nalang na ibilik nila sakin yung kinakaltas nila? wala naman silang paghuhulugan nung sakin e.. hindi naman nila ako makuhaan ng tin sa bir

Humingi ka ng BIR form 2316 para sa katunayan na binabawasan ka ng tama.

Mas mahirap para sa iyo pag nag-audit ang BIR at wala kang mapakitang katibayan na nagbabayad ka ng buwis sa kinikita mo.
