Good day!

I am currently working on a manufacturing firm on a daily basis for almost 8 years now.

My present employer does not offer separation pays.

Are there any implementing rules that scopes for a mandatory separation pay for private sectors or it is upon the employee-employer contract?

Thank you.
Hoping for your prompt address.

Separation pay? Meaning for involuntary separation such as redundancy and retrenchment? It's in the Labor Code.

If you are referring to early retirement benefits and other payments to you due to your long tenure if you resign, there is no mandatory law for that. It's a company benefit.

Except for retirement due to reaching the normal or mandatory retirement age (60 or 65) and having worked with the company for at least 5 years,
