i am currently confined in a private hospital right now and they don't want to discharge me despite the submission of the guarantee letter from pcso and settlement of the remaining bill. Is it legal for them to hold the patient in the hospital na palaki ng palaki ang bill despite na may options naman po ung patient na maisettle ung account. Any response please.

No hospital or any medical institution has the right to withold the release of the patient without expecting legal action.

there are civil, criminal or administrative remedies available
