Hi, Good day, i'm separated for more than 3 years, we got married last 2007, nalaman ko na may iba ng girl ang husbad ko nung 2010. so we decided na maghiwalay nalang... from 2010 hanggang ngaun hindi sya nagbibigay ng suporta sa anak nya pero pinapabayaan ko na magkasama sila kahit paano. He's still a CHRISTIAN, sa papers lang daw sya MUSLIM... what if, kung ayoko magpadivorce, pede po ba yun?

Need advice please..

Thank you,

mananatili ang karapatan ng inyong mga anak, walang mag-babago dun. ang tanging mapapa walang-bisa ang ang kasal nyo.

Well since may nagtatanong here regarding divorce in Muslim, I've a question too. I got married in the 90's and was a christian. This 2000 i got converted to Islam. since in Islam, a Muslim woman cannot remain married to a Christian hubby, i invited my hubby to Islam. He didn't agree. so i filed a divorce. I am living BTW in a gulf country. anyway, he has 2 kids from another woman even before this divorce case. 1 year after my divorce got granted, i got married. My question is, my present marriage officiated here in Gulf country is recognized in Philippines? I am purchasing properties and developers wanted me to put my Filipino hubby's name which i don't want. Are my properties acquired recently still our conjugal properties? I want to buy properties with my present husband as co-owner. I don't know if it is possible.

Thanks.

Magulo ang tanong mo ate. 1st, as far as I know, No Islamic state allows a wife to file a divorce, only the husband can do that. And where did you file your divorce?
