Ask lang po ulit ng friend ko, bailable po ba ang estafa criminal case? my friend worries if his proposal for settlement not be accepted is there possibilty na matalo sya sa case.

Yes, Estafa is bailable. The unbailable crimes are those that carry the penalty of Reclusion Perpetua and the evidence of guilt is strong. In the case of Estafa, the maximum imposable penalty is only Reclusion Temporal (12 yrs and 1 day to 20 years. Hence, it is bailable.
