Hi, I would like to inquire about my job being terminated due to absconding. They ended my employment last Jan. 09, 2014 because of my absences without notice for Jan. 6-9,2014. Wherein I advised that I wont be able to attend my shift until the 15th of Jan through email since I dont have my phone with me. I got the news that Im already terminated so I went to the office on the available time for me to clear everything but they told me that Im already tagged as TERMINATED. I dont even get a letter for admin hearing for my termination case. I understand that due process still needs to be serve in accordance to dismissal. I tried coordinting with then multiple times but still not getting clear response. I waited for the RTWO since it is for due process but haven't got any letters from them.
Now, the biggest part is I haven't filed the complains yet to NLRC and now I received the FIRST and ONLY letter from my employer informing me to settle the outstanding financial obligation.
**Reasons are Overpayment of final salary and cost allocated for training and upskilling for failure to render 30days and failed to return company assets.
First of all, I tried to coordinate with them regarding this issue. I even asked them if I can just resign to clear everything but they told me that Im already terminated.
