I was employed with Company "A" which was acquired by company "B" for almost a year now. I am still holding a contract from company that was maybe adapted by company "B". I am expecting of an alignment that until now it never happened.

Isn't it that old contract should expire together with the old company's exticntion and should have I signed a new contract with company "B" as my stay with them indicates absorption?

If there is indeed an alignment, how long would the law allow a company to execpute alignment. Would it be somehow retroactive?

I feel like demoralized as new employees coming in and earning almost twice as mine and I am tenured for more than 3 years from the old company up to this new acquiring company.

Thank you.

there is no particular law saying if an employee is absorbed, salary will be re-aligned. Unless stated in a contract given to you. Don't expect anything. Company B absorbed you and your length of service. You better ask your boss about this.
