13th month pay

hello to all!

pahelp lang po.. i would like to ask lang po ang tamang computation po ng 13th month pay.. ours po kasi is usually given at the end of November.. eh ang computation po ay Gross pay(deduct absences and lates but di ksma overtime) for the months Jan-November; then the total divide by 12... I'm just wondering kasi bakit kaya sya divide by 12 e 11 months lng naman yung Jan-Nov? then yung for december namin na makukuha, Gross pay divide by 12 ulit... tama po ba un? or nakadepende po ba sa mga boss kung pano ang gusto nilang pagcompute ng 13th month pay namin? pls advice po..thanks!

tama yun.. bale yung 11 months binibigay nang november then yung 1 month sa december.. so 12 months lahat..

13th month should be computed by monthly salary/ 12 * number for months serve. I believed it was computed this way since you also receive additional 13th month payment for December
