Please help
we are currently renting a house for 6k per month.
we paid 1 month deposit and 1 month advance.
we are paying monthly rent on time for 2months now
they are not issuing us a receipt of monthly rent but they issue a receipt for 2months advance and 1 month deposit.
right now we have decided to leave the house and transfer to another apartment. By the time we inform the owners that we will not pay the 1 month rent and let the advance payment consume for another month, they replied to me that we can only consume the advance payment after 1 year. and we can't refund the 1 month deposit. Should we left the huse we should pay the rent for two months.
please help. the owner of the apartment is a police from pasig.

we argue to them that there is no contract but according to them it is much worst if there is written contract
