Magandang araw sa lahat, my concern po ako tungkol sa Holiday deduction, sana maliwanagan ako nito.

Monthly po ang sahod ko, then 9 (8-6) hours weekdays at 4 hours saturday a total of 48hours a week. Kapag my special holidays o regular holidays falls on weekdays e-momove po ito ng saturday at 8 (8-5) hours nlng ang weekdays namin wala na kaming saturday. Noong June 12 independence day regular holiday po iyon wednesday may memo po kami na e-momove on saturday. So June 10-14 (8-5) lng kami at walang saturday June 15. Nasuspende po ako noong June 11 at June 14 (bali 2 days). Staggard yong suspension kasi may work akong di dapat lumisan nang matagal kay nag agree narin ako. Ngayon ang nagyari po is  (june 1- 15 payroll) suspende ako 11 at 14 so my deduction akong 2 days kaso ginawa nilng 3 days kasi daw absent ako w/o pay before the holiday kaya may additional 1 day na edededuct. Tama po ba iyon? ang pagkaka-alam ko kasi, Yes,hindi ako entittled ng 100% holiday kasi absent ako before the holiday pero bakit my 1 day pa na deduction? Sabi ng HR dahil rin daw nasuspende ako noong june 14 sa pagmove ng holiday nila ng holiday june 12 to saturday june 15. nalilito ako bakit may dag-dag na 1 day deduction? Pls. sana maliwangan ako.. Pls pls pls... tama ba ginawa nila? may add na 1 day dahil suspendido ako before the holidays?

Are you Paid on a daily or monthly basis?

If you are paid on a daily basis, the computation was right. You have 2 days suspension plus 1 holiday, that makes it 3 days absent.

If you are paid on a monthly basis, your deduction should only be 2 days and you have the right to contest it to your HR

@HR Adviser : Monthly Basis po ako. Maraming salamat po sa inyo. Kaya nga po nag reason out po talaga ako na parang may mali at salamat po sa inyo. Insist po kasi ng HR namin na immediate preceding day absent w/o pay or suspended po ako kaya di daw ako entilled ng holiday pay kahit nagwork ako on that regular holiday June 12 kasi namove nga on saturday june 15 at suspended rin ako  june 14. 3 days deduction nga daw dapat. Hindi po sila nag inform sa akin ngayon lng na last payday ng june 30 ko nakita ang descrepancy na mag-aad sila ng 1 day deduction kasi absent w/o pay ako before the holiday at sa katunayan po sila rin po nag arrange ng staggered days of my suspension.

nakaka-ewan po talaga itong HR namin. Alam kung maliit lng to sa iba, pero gusto ko lang po ng fair and tamang information. New HR, New Mean po talaga. 5 years na ako dito sa companyang to ngayon lng nagkaproblema.
