What happens when a person made a holographic will he/she kept secret and was later found after his/her death by the heirs after some time can this will still be valid assuming the heirs are still talking about their shares of the properties left? Also , what if the testator failed to divide his/her properties equally among the children can the children change the will?

Valid and must be respected. No will shall pass property without probate. Further, there could be a collation of properties that were already distributed and the same must be redistributed in accordance with the WIll

Nope the children cannot change the will, such properties under the WILL will be distributed in accordance with testate succession.
