Do job descriptions vary from one company to another?

For example, I am a school nurse. Can my job description in the school where I am working at be different from a school nurse in a different school? Thanks!

Oh okay. Because they're also kind of making me work as a TA as well, but I'm a nurse. I totally have no background in education or children with regards to teaching..
