Abandonment is not one of the grounds for annulment of marriage. The law allows legal separation,that is separation from bed and board. Once a legal separation is judicially decreed,you shall be entitled to live separately from each other but you cannot contract a subsequent marriage becuase your marriage bonds are not severed. The community property shall also be dissolved and liquidated and both parties are relieved from the obligation to support each other.

Lastly,it must be remembered that the defect contemplated in a voidable marriage must have existed at the the time of the celebration of marriage even if such defect was discovered or have manifested only after the solemnization.
