i just recently found out when I get my nso that I don't have a name registered on my live birth. The only thing written on it was my mothers surname. She's not yet married with my father when I was born but they are married now. I was born in manila and I am living now in pampanga. I've been using a birth certificate issued by the province civil registrar. But when I get my nso the one with no name is the one they issued. What should I do. Pls. help me . And how much would it cost? I'll be needing it for my enrollment in college. Thanks....

inquire at the civil registrar if they will allow a correction. they should because you are allowed to change your first name.
