I have a friend who is interested to purchase a vacant lot in Bulacan. Seller by the name of Norma Cote , married to an Australian , is working in Saudi Arabia. Accdg to her, her husband made a disappearing act and she became suspicious, and had NSO check her marriage contract. Accdg to her, NSO has no archive of her marriage, so it is fake. When it came to have her lot titled in 2004, she asked developer to register the name, Norma Arcilla, single.
Question: will there be complications on the lot purchase? should my friend decide to purchase it, what should she do to make sure that her purchase is bounded legally , airtight legally. How should the documentation be processed?
