gossiping neighbor

hello im 44 yrs old and i have 3 girls,my partners is working abroad,my problem is my neighbor,one of my neighbor told me that this particular person is telling story about me in one of their drinking session that he is seeing someone entering to my house in the middle of the night,ive told my partner about it that this man used to text me if he can come over and i told his wife asking to make it stop,my partner told me to go to barangay to file complain,but he keeps on telling lies, what will i do to make him stop spreading such lies i have 3 girls and i dont want them to suffer. please help me. thank you.
