Hi po! Hingi lang po ako ng tulong regarding sa payroll computation ng company ko:

Sa company po kasi namen, may 2 types ng pasahod.

Monthly Paid at Daily Paid.

Sa pagkakaalam ko po, sa Monthly Paid employees po, 13 working days po sila palagi every cut-off kahit na 10 or 15 days ang actual working days nila basta wala silang absent:
Example: (1 cut-off, no absences)
Actual Working Days = 11
Days Worked in Payroll Computation = 13
Salary = 10,000 or 769.03 per day

Ok naman po ang computation regarding the one above.
Sa Daily Paid employees naman po, usually po ang rate nila is Minimum Wage (426+30).

Example: (same cut-off, no absences)
Actual Working Days = 11
Days Worked in Payroll Computation = 11
Salary = 5,016 or 456 per day

Tama naman din po ito based on my research.

Ang problema lang po na meron ako ngayon is this:

Meron po kaming mga employees na ang rate is let's say 15,000 per month pero NO WORK NO PAY po. Kaya medyo naguguluhan po ako sa pagcompute.

Scenario:
(1st cut-off, no absences)
Actual Working Days = 11
Days Worked in Payroll Computation = 11
Salary = 7,500 or 681.82 per day

(2nd cut-off, no absences)
Actual Working Days = 13
Days Worked in Payroll Computation = 13
Salary = 7,500 or 576.92 per day

And can someone help me with the computation of EEMR, ADR, of Daily Paid and Monthly Paid employees? And total number of days in a year.

THANK YOU PO SA MAKAKATULONG SA ISSUE KO. GOD BLESS YOU!

with the computation of EEMR, ADR, of Daily Paid

your problem arises because you have not computed these first. and to do that, the management has to first decide what factor to use as number of working days a year.

here is something that might help: click here

I saw this:

For those who do not work and are not considered paid on Sundays or rest days:

EMR = (ADR x 313 days)/12

Where 313 days:
299 days - Ordinary working days
11 days - Regular holidays
3 days - 3 special days (if worked x 130%)
---------- -------
313 days - Total equivalent number of days/year

This is a formula to compute EMR but how do you compute the ADR? All formulas are for EMR but how about ADR?

if your management chose 313 as the factor for number of paid days, ADR = annual salary / 313.

thanks for the reply attyLLL!

For the Monthly Paid employees, they always get 13 days worked regardless of the actual working days (no work on Sundays). Based on my computations:

13 days per cut-off = 26 days per month
26 days per month x 12 months = 312

so I guess they used 312 for the monthly paid employees?

Should I use 312 too for the Daily Paid employees?
For example:
12,000 rate per month
12,000 x 12 = 144,000
144,000 / 312 = 461.54 per day

And which should I use? 312 or 313?

313 is more proper because it is the one used by dole. and it's not based on a monthly average x no. of months. the actual number working days in the whole year were counted individually before reaching an ANNUAL AVERAGE.

note that there are other figures that are allowed by the dole depending on the operations of the company.

I'm really grateful for the replies attyLLL. I just have one last question so I can move forward and fix our salary computations.

Current computation for my salary is:
(1st cut-off, no absences)
Actual Working Days = 13
Days Worked in Payroll Computation = 13
Salary = 6,000 or 461.5385 per day

(2nd cut-off, no absences)
Actual Working Days = 11
Days Worked in Payroll Computation = 11
Salary = 6,000 or 545.4545

Since I am a daily paid employee, you mean the right computation should be:
12,000 x 12 months = 144,000
144,000 / 313 days in a year = 460.039

I understand that if a cut-off has 10 days, it's 4,600.39
if 13 days, 5,985.07 it will always be 460.039 regardless of actual working days since you just multiply the # of days worked to the daily rate.

The case is that our hiring officer says "We offer you 12,000 a month." If I am a daily paid employee, isn't "12,000 a month" irrelevant to say considering that I wont be able to receive the whole 12,000 a month or 6,000 if one cut-off falls less than 13 days?

Let's say 1st cut-off is 13 days:
13 days x 461.5385 = 6,000 (this one is right)

2nd cut-off
12 days x 461.5385 = 5,538.462 (less than 6,000)

Doesn't this mean that I am not able to achieve the whole 12,000 which is the basic salary rate offered to me?

Thanks for the response attyLLL! I really appreciate it. Smile

ultimate, if what you will receive for the year is P144,000 then you are being paid correctly
