First of all, i want to thank you for the big help you gave me before.
Right now, i want to ask about another prolem. My mom is a lisenced nurse (RN), but she is working in a school as a school nurse for already 14 years. The employer calls her employment status "Regular Seasonal Employee" and she has not been regularized in the institution upto the present. Is there a legal thing such as "Regular Seasonal Employee"? it sounds stupid to me but if there is something like this, could it last for 14 years (and counting)? I am wondering if this is lawful. We are wondering if we can file something against the school for not making her a regular employee for 14 years.
Also, this makes my mom a "no work, no pay", "no vacation leave", and "no sick leave" employee. the school gave the teachers their leave and incentives, and the school will give their March 31st salary on April 1st. My mom is not entitled of having incentives so having a late pay is hard on her part.
i am hoping for a response, and i know you will be able to help us with this because you already helped me before.
thank you very much.
God bless you and the people involoved in this site.
