Arresto Menor

My father died last December 2012 with remaining balance from his credit card.Last November 2012,the balance is around 50 thousand. He paid 5K after its due date. And now the amount rise to more than 70K with demand letter from the lawyer. They are requiring my family to pay more than 50K now. But my cannot family cannot yet afford that amount. What legal actions can we do?

My brother passed away 2 years ago. He also had credit card debts before passing. You can photocopy the death certificate of your father, and go to the bank, and tell them what happened. I think you have to fill out a form and submit a few other document, but the credit card debt will be pardoned....
