good day,
i just want to seek legal advice regarding the accident of my father with a minor child.
we have a tricycle and we owned it, may father use to fetch my child to school everyday, when we are in near our house we saw that their children playing and running the street. he stop nearly infront of out house and shouted "wooooooo" so all children will stop running but unfortunetly the other child did not hear it and are not looking to where she was running and so eventhough the tricycle is not running she bumb in to the tricycle because it in front of the way where she was running. we took her to the hospital and she got 4 stiches on her forehead, the doctor did not require her for ct scan because the doctor told me that it is not necessary and the child has no indication for any damage in the brain or what,,, the child offcourse cannot go to school for how many days. the doctor advice us to go back after 7 days for the removal of the stiches in her forehead, we go as schedule but the doctor said that let give it another 7 days for the wound to heal. after another 7 days we went back and everything goes well.
but the parents want us to provide for the ct scan even knowing that it is not necessary, we understand their argument but how we will stand for this matther?
if ever we decline for their request what will happen?
i dont know how to classify the injury of the child but i believe their is a laps in a filing a case.
we only have record at the barangay and actually we agreed that we will only give the expenses regarding the stitches and medicine needed until the child goes well, thats it
but now they are asking for ct scan.
what should we do.
