Arresto Menor

My husband is a police officer stationed in Zamboanga City Central Office. I have submitted my affidavit of complaint through Internal Services Unit Region IX PNP about three days ago for RA 9262.. right now am still waiting for the Summary hearing.

I was physically abused and i have the medico legal and pictures of my bruises but more so the unsavory words he shouted in front of so many people were more difficult to bear that every now and then i cry and have sleepless nights.

Part of my complaint was the grave threat that he would kill me should i file a case against him... verbally he told me this and by a text message from his mobile phone (message is still being kept in my INBOX of messages). Lately I learned he changed his mobile number and i am sure that he would deny this completely in his counter affidavit and during the hearing... can i still prove the message was really from him? he has been using the number for quite a time now even at work before... what should i do?

text messages are called ephemereal electronic evidence. they can be considered if you will affirm that you are the recepient of those messages. it will be helpful for your cause if you can produce other persons who will attest that your husband was using that same telephone number before.
