gusto ko po sana malaman kung madali ang processing ng pagpapawalang bisa ng kasal kung fake po ito. nakasal po ako at the age of 20 at yung girl was 17 years old only using a fake birth certificate and indicating a wrong year of birth.. nagyon po ay hiwalay kami and i want to file a case kung falsification of public document or ipapa void ko nalang.she only told me na fake ang birth certificate na gamit nya ng makasal na po kami. another thing pa po pwede nya ba ako kasuhan if ever na may iba na akong kinakasama?likewise to my new partner? please help.thanks in advance!

yes, she can file a case of concubinage or violence against women against you because your marriage is still considered valid until there is a court order declaring it void.

to make sure about her age, request a copy of her birth certificate from the NSO.

the process to declare your marriage void is through the filing of a petition with the court on the basis of lack of legal capacity at the time of the celebration of the marriage.

thanks for your help sir. do you know how much will it cost and how long it can be process to void my marriage to her? ano ano po ang dapat kong gawin para maipa walang bisa ko ang aming kasal?

cost depends on the lawyer that you retain. if you are done in a year, that will be quite fast. you will have to file a petition in court to annul your marriage.
