hi, posting this issue for a friend
a man got married in 1982 in Zambales, then got married again with another woman in 1996 in Manila - however, the man claimed that the 2nd marriage was fake, (no cenomar yet that time) and was arranged by a fixer in the city hall, the woman knew that the marriage was "fixed" from the start. they just did it because she was pregnant and wanted to prove his father (a military official) that the man was responsible for the baby.
however, after 2 yrs the 2nd "marriage" failed and the man returned to his original wife, she did not file any case and lived a normal married life.
Just recently, the original wife found out that the 2nd "fake" wife was using the man's surname and her marital status was married. she is working in a government office.
what case can she file to the 2nd "fake" wife??
she don't intend to sue her husband for they are now peacefully living together. but she just can't stand the fact that someone else claim to be a Mrs Q.. that she legally entitled to.
