tanong ko lang po, di ba inanounce in Pnoy na double pay ang lahat ng pumasok nung kasagsagan ng hagupit ng habagat? e pano po kung inanounce ng private company na wala po kaming pasok? at wag kami pumasok sa araw na un, no work no pay po ba un?

pag po ba regular holiday kahit di ka pumasok bayad pa din po ba un? basta pumasok ka bago ang araw ng regular holiday?

salamat po hintayin ko po ang sagot nyo.

Hi im not an atty, pero registered po ako dito sa site na ito and also reading inquirries. Just to share po ang August 7 was declared by the malacanang treated as special holiday, those who rendered work during August 7 will be paid an additional of 30% of the 100% of their daily salary for the first 8 hours and 30% of thier hourly wage exceeding the 8 hours, both applied for daily and monthly wage employees.

If you are daily wage employee it applies "No work No pay". and if you are monthly base employee which you did not come to work during that day you are entitled to receive pay from the company.

additional info for your second question. YES, you are entitled to receive payment during the holiday if (1) you are present a day before the said holiday and (2)if you are absent a day before the holiday but you are in paid leave like VL and SL.
