Hi,

I have an inquiry: is the termination automatically effective when a notice of decision stating such is served? What if I did not sign it but I asked for a copy?

Another query, would it be an issue if I started with the clearance procedure and I file a case in NLRC? Wouldn't it be used against me that it may imlpy that I agree with the decision thats why I have started the clearance process?

normally yes unless the letter states a later date. you are still deemed to have received it even if you did not sign or refused to accept it.

no, you can always file a case.
