Hi,

Last year our company released this formal notice of termination and written on that paper, they said that the company is being investigated and got this order of Closure or Cessation of Business Operations within 30 days.

We were asked to sign the said paper with a verbal agreement that we will be transferred to another company. So kahit po close yung company nagwowork pa din po kami sa kanila and even up to now. The management did not discussed anything about our tenureship, and it's like when we got transferred, we're back from the start.

Should we get a severance pay from that formal termination?

kind of depends on many factors and what was said o that paper, who owns both companies and whether they have similar lines of work

I work for the same people, the only thing that was stated in the paper is that NTC released an order for Closure or Cessation of Business Operations within 30 days. We signed the formal termination and no new contract with the new company, we're just continuously working with them until now. Yes same industry.

Some have contracts now but the date hired says: July 2011 supposedly May 2009, then according to HR officer, the tenureship will start during the transfer so everything else before that will be forfeited.

sabi po nila wala daw kasi inabsorb lang daw po kami ng existing company, yun po ang paliwanag samin saka dahil daw po pagkalipat namin REGULAR EMPLOYEE na kami agad. Tama po ba yun?
