Extent of involvement

I actually own a company where my name is not one of the board members. I am involved in the day to day running of the company as manager, and the workers believe I'm the owner. The company holds office in a place that I own, rent free. Now that the company is involved in a labor dispute, what will be the extent of my involvement? In case of monetary claims, will I be forced to pay considering the above? Is it possible to protect myself from these? Thanks.

if this is a corporation registered with sec, you should show you did not participate in the termination or it was not done in bad faith.
