Our call center offered voluntary retirement package and during the meeting with some HR people, managers and trainers which they called Roadshow they said the voluntary retirement package is an option they are offering to agents secondary only to a Redundancy Program that they may implement.
Many of us opted for the Voluntary Retirement Package however, we later realized that what we signed bore nothing that says Voluntary Retirement Package, instead what was stipulated on the 2-page copy was Redundancy Program (having the words "we regret to inform you... you were chosen...") the first page of it was never given to us only the second page which has the rough estimate of the amount we are to receive and even on the second page it says Redundancy Pay.
Can this be a case of Illegal Dismissal?
