atty if a guy married twice...both marriage are registered at NSO...sabi po the 2nd marraige is not valid...
1. so kapag nagpa-annul sa 1st marriage automatic ba na magiging valid ang 2nd marriage?
2. ...o pwede na magpakasal ulit?

hi! nagfile ng annulment ang ex-husband ko at granted na po ito. my copy na po ako ng annotated NSO marriage certificate namin, enough na po ba yun para makapag-apply uli ako ng marriage license kung sakaling ikakasal ako uli? thanks po!

complicated, i used to say no, but somehow, a basketball player and his celebrity wife were able to use that ground to annul their marriage.

atty, hawak ko na po ang kasulatan na divorce na po ang kasal ko sa aking asawa, kasal po ako sa kanya dyan sa pilipinas,ano po kaya ang gagawin ko para maging legal ito dyan sa pilipinas para makakuha ako ng singleness?

rosa, before that, are you or your husband a foreigner? was it the alien spouse who filed the petition for divorce and if he was a former filipino, was he already an alien when the petition for divorce filed?

complicated, if only permanent resident, it cannot be used to void the marriage in the philippines even if later he becomes a foreign citizen

hi! my copy na po ako ng annotated marriage cert. from nso. finile po ang case sa butuan city at dito po ako sa manila naka-base. gusto po sana namin makasal sa catholic church at isa po sa requirements ay Documents of nullity from the competent matrimonial tribunal for those marriages which have been declared null and void. saan po ako pwede mgrequest?

if you're going for a 2nd catholic wedding, the catholic church requires that you undergo annulment proceedings under canon law

civil rights po yung 1st marriage ko. gusto ko po sana makakuha ng copy ng documents na galing sa court na nag-grant ng annulment since yung ex-husband ko po ay hindi ko na ma-contact. aside dun sa court kung saan finile ang annulment, meron pa po bang ibang office na kung saan pwede akong magrequest ng copy?

i recommend that your 2nd marriage just undergo civil rites again. a competent matrimonial tribunal is like a church court.

hi! possible po ba mag file ng declaration of nullity (no marriage license) if nasa abroad? im planning to file pero 1 month lang ksi vacation ko sa philippines. ano po ba pewede gawin? thanks!

yes, it is possible to file it, and there are ways to record your testimony if you need to leave but you have to appear before the judge at some point.
