Arresto Menor

Is there a limit (in the number of days) an employer can impose suspension as disciplinary action in a violation comitted by an employee? If there is, what is the maximum length of suspension and its legal basis? Say, an employer imposed a 3- month suspension to an employee as disciplinary action, does it fall under constructive dismissal?
Please help. thanks!
