i'm currently working for a company here in the philippines. due to the lack of projects, the company is planning to relocate me to another country, as an ofw.

the plan was to have us there by january this year. this was also stated in the job offer. however, half of the year has already passed and hindi pa rin kami nakaalis. nakadaan na kami sa mga orientation and medical exams.

during this time, naghahanap na ako ng trabaho kasi hindi na rin ako happy sa company. and nakakuha na rin ako ng job offer na pinag-iisipan kong kunin.

gusto ko lang malaman if advisable pa bang magresign sa current company, knowing na in-accept ko na yung job offer for the relocation and yung employment contract (note: may addendum na binigay na hindi ko pa pinipirmahan)?

what are your worries? legalities?

yes there will be a possibility of you being filed a case by your employer because you already agreed to accept the offer. But its your decision if you want to go or take the new job offer.

my concern actually is in regards to the ofw process. since i'm not entirely familiar with that, i'm not sure if there will be any repercussions with POEA and the agency.
