Good day!

Sino na po nka-receive ng call na may warrant daw at may nka-abang na sherrif sa barangay at nakikipagusap sa kapitan or brgy. coordinator. May mabigat na kaso daw at kailangan tawagan daw sila sa landline number 225-6000.
I'm wondering kung tactic nnman ba ng mga collecting agent ang manakot.

tactic lang yan. walang tao na nasa katinuan ang mag tatawag in advance bago mag serve ng warrant since kung talagang may kaso yung aarestuhin ay pwede sya magtago pag may naginform sa kanya na aarestuhin na sya.

here's how i recommended to my client to handle this:

when they talk on the phone my client says he is recording the conversation for reference. then ask for details about this supposed case they filed and the warrant of arrest and clarify who it is they are collecting for. they now get scared because there is evidence being recorded of how their scare tactics are being used for their client.
