Hi, I am currently residing in Australia and my fiancée is in Philippines (Metro Manila). She wants to get work, although she doesn't need contract work because she plans to move to Australia soon. Are there many jobs available that don't have a (6 month contract) work? If so, is it legal to get temporary work in Manila? Thanks in advance Smile

Kind regards,
Todd86

Thanks Smile That's great to know that it's doable. I was worried for a minute that working without a contract was illegal.

Every employment has a contract, but not all are written. Many part time jobs only have verbal agreements. You may try reading this. I hope this helps you understand the nature of contracts (under Philippine laws, at least). https://www.alburovillanueva.com/contracts

Since every employment has a contract, what exactly is the punishment for leaving a job before the time is up?
