How to write a Certification of Employment for employees who filed a case @ Dole and lost but the company has been closed for more than a year

BUT this is the current situation
1) The company has been closed for more than a year now
2) The year of tenure records are already lost
3) The case is already finished @ DOLE wherein the employees lost but is now asking Certification of Employment. From the closed company

Questions:
1) Do you put in the COE that the company has already been closed for 1 year time and reason of closing?
2) Can you just put when the employees stopped working in the company as there is no more record on when they started?
3) Who will be the signatory ?
4) Last question : Can you opt not to give COE since the company has already been closed for more than a year?

Hope anyway can help me .thanks

1) you may or may not put that in record. Standard CoE only stated the employees date of tenure.
2) yes it is ok to put only the date of separation, but if you want it complete, you can check the record in sss the declared date hired of the employee.
3) signatory may be the owner, or the HR who holds the records.
4) yes, but to help the employee it is best to give them a CoE.

NO one is compelled anymore to issue a COE if the company is already closed. It would be ABSURD if you are a previous officer/HR and you issue COE in the name of the company and/or signed by another officer.

The right remedy here is to tell the previous employees to execute an affidavit stating that the company cannot no longer issue COEs as the same is already closed. Tell them to issue the affidavit to the entity who is asking for their COEs.
