Hi,

Good day to all. I just want to ask if what would be the qualification to get the custody of the child? The situation is, my sister was an ofw same as her x. but the x did not give any financial support for almost 2 years now, Would it be possible that my sister win the custody eventhough she's an ofw?

How old is the child?
If max 7 yo, then the mother almost allways get the custody if it's a fight in court, except if she is found being a to bad parents as for instance drug adict.

Although mostly it's best for the child if the parents can be friendly enough to each other to NEGOTIATE WITHOUT court agreeing to SPLIT custody.
