Hi po! So bale, bago po ako sa work ko. Online po siya. Like with my previous online work, I always received contracts, and signed them. Pero for this current work, yung boss ko sabi niya, di siya magbibigay sa akin ng contract. Ang sabi niya sa akin ay, "Contract...? not on my end." What could that mean kaya? However, he gave me parang yung terms of work. How would that affect me as an employee? Thanks po.

ang possible pitfall lang ay if merong kayong usapan regarding a certain condition or bonus baka hindi ibigay at walang kang patunay na merong pinag usapan. otherwise all pertinent labor laws will still apply, kaya you govt mandated rights will still be enforced

You need to have a copy of your employment contract para alam mo kung ano yung duties and responsibilities mo under the company you are working with, and the benefits you'll gain for working with them. Tama si luke na yung labor laws natin mag-aapply pa rin, pero you still need to have a copy since it is important to know what you're getting into as an employee.

Ask around your other co-workers as to how can you receive a copy of your employment contract as soon as possible.

Work from home din ako sir. I think pwede ka mag issue ng contract as an independent contractor. kung online ang work, pwede mo ipa-sign using hellosign. Smile. May former client ako na naka-base sa alabang, and remote yung work duties ko. pwede mo-idiscuss kay client mo kung magfufunction ka as independent contractor (NDA, schedule of fees) or full-time employee ka (sya dapat ang mag-issue).
